Maple class children created this classroom display about the Parable of the Mustard Seed for our RE topic, the Kingdom of God.
Based on the Gospel Values, Maple class children explored the Values they felt would be the most important to consider and promote as leaders, both in themselves and in those whom they are leading.
As a learning opportunity taken from the school-wide literacy unit studying Oliver Jeffers’ book, ‘Here we Are’, Maple, Larch and Hazel class pupils created boxes to illustrate their poems about their special places.
Maple class pupils took some time to learn about and practice ‘Mindfulness’. They then used this awareness to write about the sky, using their senses and feelings to guide their thoughts and words.
Maple class pupils are learning how to lead class assemblies and worship.
