Shepreth Wildlife Park
Holly and Cherry class had a wonderful educational visit to Shepreth Wildlife Park. There was great excitement as we boarded the coach and began our journey. The children showed their appreciation of the popular landmarks, such as McDonalds and Burger King! We passed beautiful poppy fields and had to wait at a train crossing. When we arrived at the park we wandered around searching for the animals we had anticipated seeing - and to find out some key facts about that species. We were blessed with lovely sunshine the whole day. We saw some cave paintings which tied in with our current theme 'Stories from the Past'. For our Art Exhibition, the children painted Rousseau's 'Tiger in the Storm', so we were delighted to also see a tiger on our trip!
