As part of our current theme 'Kings and Queens', Holly and Cherry children have been drawing castles/palaces using the shapes squares, rectangles, arches etc. They then had the opportunity to paint their castle sketch using watercolours. To enable children to gain greater mastery of these skills, they can revisit this activity during child-initiated learning time throughout the week.
