Exploring 3-D Shapes

  This week Elm Class have been having fun learning about and exploring the properties of 3D shapes.  They have been using what they know about faces, edges and vertices to create their own 3D shapes using polydron.

Easter Egg Hunt

As a final treat at the end of a busy term, Elm Class enjoyed sharing a French Breakfast with the rest of Lower KS2, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt at the end of the day.
We wish everyone a happy Easter and look forward to seeing you all refreshed and ready for a new term.

Hard at work

In between all our rehearsals, we have continued to work hard in lessons. Elm Class are enjoying reading about Roz the Robot and her adventures in the wilderness.
In Maths, we have been learning how to use bar models to help us find fractions of amounts.

Gospel Show Gets Going

The lower key stage 2 production was well on its way this week as Sycamore, Beech and Elm began rehearsals and sang their hearts out to classics such as Roll Back the Stone and King of the Jews.

Autumn Leaves

Elm Class had fun collecting Autumn Leaves. We used these to create leaf rubbings, exploring texture and colour.
