Extreme Earth!

In our topic lessons, Elm Class have been studying natural disasters such as volcanoes and Earthquakes. We learned what to do in the event of an earthquake and practised following these guidelines when we heard the alarm sound!

Jazzy Collages

In Art this week, we looked at the work of Henri Matisse and were really inspired by his paper cutting. We had a go ourselves by listening to Jazz music, watching some classmates dance and then making a collage from our paper cuttings.

West Stow Trip

The children enjoyed their trip to West Stow. We visited an Anglo-Saxon village and museum, where the children were able to try on Anglo-Saxon outfits!

Martial Arts Day!

On Wednesday, Master Wayne visited the school to teach the children martial arts. Elm Class learnt a karate routine and some basic self-defence.
