This term in History we travelled back in time to meet the great explorers of the aviation world. We learned about the magnificent Montgolfier brothers who invented the hot air balloon, the wonderful Wright Brothers and the amazing Amelia Earhart and even boarded a rocket with Yuri Gagarin! For our final session we, had an afternoon to celebrate all that we learned. After making our passports we boarded Lime Airways and travelled around the world! We then used our creativity and imagined what Yuri Gargarin would have seen from his rocket. Of course we made and tested paper airplanes too! A wonderful afternoon celebrating these great explorers!
