On Tuesday 25th February, Father Christopher kindly came to celebrate mass with Sycamore class. Our theme was centred around serving God in other people, and we learned some interesting facts about Shrove Tuesday after the service as well.
In Art this week, we looked at the work of Henri Matisse and were really inspired by his paper cutting. We had a go ourselves by listening to Jazz music, watching some classmates dance and then making a collage from our paper cuttings.
This week LKS2 have been learning about tempera, a medium of painting that involved mixing coloured pigments with egg yolk. They used pigments from beetroot, paprika, spinach and many other natural resources.
