Last week, the children started to make their recycled coasters out of plastic bags. The children worked well together to make a good start on their projects. The children will have the opportunity to finish them on Friday this week.

This week in Elm class, the children have been writing their own scripts for a TV advert. They discussed the product they were tasked with selling and came up with fantastic persuasive adverts. Here they are writing their scripts and then rehearsing them.

Yesterday, as a school, we prayed a decade of The Holy Rosary to celebrate October being the month of The Rosary. All children received Rosary Beads to pray with.

Last week, LKS2 children created The Gambia flag using recycled material. Elm Class were responsible for creating the green third of the flag. Children were also able to create some other art work for displays during the same lesson. Here are some fantastic pictures...

Where in the world?

This week Elm Class have been learning about the seven continents of the world. We also ‘travelled’ around the world using Google Earth to visit famous landmarks.
