As part of our work on the Normans and the Bayeux Tapestry, we have been developing our embroidery skills.  Although this has required lots of patience, you can see the bookmarks we have created and how beautiful they are!

We have been learning about our inspirational and heroic class saint, St. Maximilian Kolbe.  Although his story is a tragic one, he is an excellent example of selflessness and service.  We have been sketching his portraits and creating fact files about him.

In Science we have begun to look at light and how it travels.  We used ourselves to model how light travels as you can see here in this picture of a boy viewing a worm..!

Today we had a lovely trip to Memorial Hall in Newmarket to find out all abut the 1941 bombing. We heard a real air raid siren and did St Louis proud with our excellent notetaking – congratulations to Charlie for winning first prize! We had a lovely little play...
