As we have entered the start of Advent, we have each made an ornament for our Jesse Tree. Each day we add one more. We have also added our Christmas wishes to the tree. Our classroom is starting to feel very festive!
Over the last couple of weeks, we have been designing and creating our own Coats of Arms. These were based on medieval styles, like that of King Henry VIII. The designs we have produced are symbolic of what is important to us individually.

As part of our work on the Normans and the Bayeux Tapestry, we have been developing our embroidery skills. Although this has required lots of patience, you can see the bookmarks we have created and how beautiful they are!
