On Monday, the fire brigade came to visit us! They taught us all about fire, how to keep safe and then, to kick- start our new history learning about the great fire of London, set fire to some 'houses'; Mrs Hodson even got to put out the fire with the firefighters' hose! We saw how quickly the fire spread through the houses, which helped us understand the importance of staying safe and how London's fire spread so quickly.

Your house creations are absolutely incredible; thank you for all of your hard work - we are so impressed and don't have the heart to set them on fire - we'll use them to support our learning in another way, don't worry!
