Feeding our little birds this winter

This week Holly and Cherry class talked about the changes in the season as we begin to move from autumn into winter. The children thought about how to help the little birds that will need feeding as the weather gets colder and we made bird feeders. The children were enthusiastic and enjoyed painting the tins, mixing the bird food and identifying good places to hang the bird feeders in the trees. Now the bird feeders are dotted around the school grounds so we will be able to watch the birds as they feed and feel proud that we have helped the birds as the weather gets colder.

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
