An Eggsellent Week

Being great scientists and explorers, one piece of major eggcitement in Oak Class this week was thinking about materials we could use to protect an egg.  We worked in groups to think about the materials and layers we would use to create eggsellent protection for our eggs, then we dropped them off the balcony!  It was eggstremely eggstraordinary!  We might need to refine our products a little further!

      Just look at the anticipation!

In English, we enjoyed writing a class poem about a celebration.  We ended up with a bit of a marshmallow theme!

Achievements:

Every week 2 children receive a Headteacher Award from Mrs. Blakely.  Every week we take a photo of the two hardworking children who have been seen living our Gospel values.

We ended the week with a lovely surprise, the award for best attendance.  Well done Oak Class families!

School

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
