Working in His Creation

October is dedicated to the month of the Holy Rosary.  This week has seen us beginning to learn to pray the Rosary with the rest of the school.  Isn’t it wonderful that technology can bring us together whilst we stay in our bubbles.  Oak Class prayed their decades really well and listened very carefully.

In English we were learning how to use speech marks for direct speech.  We used them to show what Max in ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ was saying.  We have been finding them in the books in our reading corner too.

Part of learning about God’s Great Plan is talking about how we can be good stewards of His creation.  We have talked about Fairtrade and made art work; shared ideas about what we think it means to be good stewards and made some posters to help other people become good stewards.

We all enjoyed coming to school with our yellow items.  Oak Class are especially keen to raise money for people who aren’t as fortunate as we are or just need some help, as our ideas for our school councillor to share at the meeting showed!

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
