Wild Things!

No, not us! We’re Oak Class!

We have been learning about Max and wild things in Where The Wild Things Are.  Creep through our vines and come and take a look!

In maths we have been comparing and ordering numbers to 100.  Today we saw how our times tables facts are made.  Science saw us testing different materials for boats.  The experiment caused great excitement!  We decided that perhaps the plastic would make the                                                    best sort of boat for us.

We have thought about how much God loves us and how other people show us that they love us.  We have thought about Adam and Eve forgetting to listen to God.  We practise listening to God every day.  Ask us to show you how we pray.

Part of our Explorers topic was sorting the time line for some of the key journeys in Columbus’ life.  Did you know he was trying to travel to India so he could buy spices and become rich?  Instead he sailed west and found lands that hadn’t been discovered yet!

Our wonderful saintly artwork has appeared on our door this week.  We took great care making it and finding out about St. Teresa (you  may still remember her fondly as Mother Teresa).  Could you give up everything to go and do God’s work?

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
