Growing our own food

Busy, busy, busy and not a bee in sight (yet)!

We have been growing our own potatoes, waiting patiently for them to chit.  Today, as part of science week, we have planted our chitted potatoes and now all we need to do is be patient and green-fingered.  Ask us what we have to do every time we see the shoot starting to poke through the soil!

A couple of weeks ago we did an experiment about hand washing.  It is coming in very useful!  Ask us what we sing when we wash our hands and how many times we sing it.

Look at us all dressed and ready to go!

We spent a lovely afternoon at Palace House yesterday.  We found out lots about another type of animal.  You might be able to guess what!  We learnt that horses have shoulders that are called withers, so today instead of singing “Head, shoulders, knees and toes”, we have been singing “head, withers, knees and hooves”!

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
