Loaves, fish and exercise!

Rowan Class have been counting our heartbeats this week and finding ways to increase how fast our heart beats.  We have learnt about being healthy and why good food and exercise is important to us.  You might catch us racing around; doing stretches and balances; trying press ups and we are thinking about the healthiest foods we can eat.

We ran on the spot, did star jumps and danced so that our hearts worked harder.

In maths we are building our number knowledge and understanding and in English we are still enjoying our Rapunzel story (we did some gruesome rhyming today, with a nod to Shakespeare!)

We have continued learning about the Good News and enjoyed the Godly Play of the Miracle of the 5 loaves and 2 fishes.  Playdough is always a good way to get reflective and creative with the story.  Ask us what we made and ask us about the amazing things Jesus did, so that we can share the Good News.

Thank you for all your support with spellings and homework.  We are becoming great independent learners.

School

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
