Oh the excitement!

Another post starting with another thank you! Your cards and flowers at the start of the week were a lovely surprise and it was really lovely to share in the excitement with the children. I think that we may have quite a few budding dress designers, make up artists and hair stylists amongst our girls!

Whilst we were still glowing in the excitement, we designed our own classification trees using Haribo in preparation for looking at classification of living creatures next week (a rather exciting lesson…!).

This week has also seen us watching the BBC 500 words Live Lesson; the children were very excited about the possibilities of story telling and we will be feeding that into their English homework over coming few weeks.

The last couple of seconds of calm as the rest of the phase joined us for the BBC 500 Words Live Lesson!

Homework this week: fractions sheets for both year groups. Y5 comprehension as usual and pages 25-27 for the Y6s in their grammar books. Don’t forget: if they have any queries, come along to homework club on Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes and someone will help you out.

School

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
