Christmas joy!

We’ve made it! The school holidays have finally begun and silence has descended on the school corridors…!

This week, although short, has been a hive of busy activity as we’ve finished off those niggly bits and pieces before wrapping up (no pun intended…) for Christmas. Art work has been finished off, including our depictions of how Jesus, with all of His different names, can be artistically shown; Maths ‘problems’ have continued and their lovely work on The Journey has been a pleasure to mark this week.

The Carol Service on Wednesday afternoon was a lovely end to the term and we got the chance to say goodbye to some old friends; it followed a morning of The Nativity and… classroom made popcorn; the excitement!

Mrs Humphries and I wish you all a lovely Christmas break full of joy and happiness. Thank you all for your very kind gifts, they really are, truly, appreciated.

Homework: Year 5 have a ‘menu’ from which they can choose and Year 6 have some Maths and English just to keep things ticking over during the holidays which, as usual, is due in the first Wednesday back.

PS – worth a listen if you have 3 minutes:

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
