Saving the carpet from the puppy!

Having had a close look at animals including humans during our science lessons, Mrs. Cox pretend that she had brought Lola in to visit.  Unfortunately Lola ‘made such a mess’ that she had to go straight home before she could see the children! The class then helped to work out which would be the most absorbent material to help dry the ‘puddle’!  We then thought about what we know about animals and what we would need to do to keep a pet healthy and happy. (Apologies to all those of you who now end up being cajoled into your first or additional pets this summer!)

In RE we learnt about Judaism and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.  We had a close look at a Tallit and a Kippah and talked about how and why they are used.  There is One God.

It has been a fantastic year in Rowan Class , officially closing with End of Year Mass and St Louis’ Day, and it has been a privilege to be the teacher for these amazing children.  I can’t wait to hear about what all my Rowans are doing in their new classes.  Have a safe and Blessed summer.

With all good wishes now and in the future,
Mrs. Cox
