Phew! What a week!
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday saw the children pull off three brilliant productions of Joseph; needless to say that they were very excited about the whole thing. I don’t think we’ll be able to see a beard again without thinking of the hairy Ishmaelites…
- Tuesday and Thursday saw the Year 5s complete the last two days of their trio of Newmarket racing themed trips. Our trip to Palace House was well run by the museum and the children enjoyed getting involved in the activities; the afternoon at the race course saw them enjoying one of the biggest playgrounds I’ve seen in a while and racing the horses as they ran past! Lots of fun in the sun!
- Wednesday saw the Year 5s completing their MAT RE task on Holy Orders and vocations; it looks as though they did pretty well, so well done after doing Journey with Jesus last week too!
- Thursday was SRE day; the children were very sensible and asked lots of appropriate questions.
And now this week… a week in France with the Year 6s whilst the Y5s have Bikeability, a History project, external sports competitions, Maths with the teachers from St Benedict’s and then the Maths Challenge at Newmarket Academy on Friday for a select few. Few… is there anything I’ve missed?!
