Look At How Our Sunflowers Have Grown!

Mrs Baldwin took our sunflowers home over the Easter holidays and looked after them by watering them and making sure they were in a warm place. Look at how they have grown! This week the children have put a stick in their plant pot to support their sunflowers so they can grow tall and strong. The children have measured their sunflower and they range in height from 6cm to 16 cm. We will continue to look after the sunflowers in school and watch them grow. The sunflowers have sparked an interest among the children in growing something else so we have also sown some cress seeds this week. After sowing the seeds the children wrote instructions for how to plant cress seeds so Mrs Baldwin can remind herself in future what she would need to do as she has a terrible memory! We look forward to the cress growing so that we can cut it and have a taste.

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
