My hair is sticking up!

Another exciting week has been and gone here in Hazel Class. Yesterday we had our class mass with Father Christopher which, despite a few technical hitches, was a lovely reflective time. Thank you Miss Walsh for your assistance!

We have spent some time this week thinking about the Stations of the Cross this week as part of this season of Lent.

Also yesterday we dressed up in green clothing to raise money for a memorial tree, thank you to everyone who contributed. Miss Butttess apologises for forgetting to remind the children!

Furthermore, it is British Science week this week so we spent some time learning about static electricity by conducting some experiments using balloons, paper, hair and plastic bags. Such fun! Don’t forget to participate in the science challenge at home if you would like, using the challenge card that was sent home.

Compehension – the next page about birds

Maths – identifying properties of 2D shapes

Spellings – week 3

Usual times tables and reading

Our school is a thriving Christian community where our children are central to everything that we do. Adults and children enjoy working together to achieve their full potential.
