Another fun week has come and gone in Hazel Class. We enjoyed learning about Judaism all day Monday, having the opportunity to handle artefacts to enhance our learning.
In Science on Tuesday, a highlight was surely eating chocolate cakes – all to illustrate how melting chocolate is a reversible change whereas burning marshmallows is irreversible – of course! The magic balloon experiment also caused much excitement (see photo).
It’s been a very enjoyable week of celebrations too, with All Saints Mass at church yesterday, Tegan’s birthday (Happy birthday!), reaching the first goal in our class reward system and learning all about the Gunpowder Plot today.
Miss Buttress is now looking forward to reading some amazing homework projects which we will all share next week. Who knows what else next week will bring?!
Tuesday: House Captain Elections
Wednesday: Martial Arts taster
Homework: pages 14-15 “Pompeii” as well as the usual Maths, spellings and timetables
